TRIBUNNEWS.COM, JAKARTA – Democratic Party General Leader Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) strongly condemned the anarchist actions of the Israeli armed forces at the Al Aqsa Mosque, as well as the ongoing Israeli attacks on Palestinians.
The son of the 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) said that the treatment of Israeli soldiers in Palestine had hurt the hearts of Muslims.
“The method of violence, to injure unarmed civilians, even while praying, hurts all of us, especially Muslims,” AHY said in his statement quoted on Tuesday (11/5/2021).
AHY continued, this cannot be justified in any sector, not even international humanitarian law.

“I call on all parties to exercise restraint. A two-state peaceful solution can only be realized by peaceful means,” he said.
“The 1945 Constitution states that independence is the right of all races, including the Palestinians,” continued AHY.
It is known, the situation in Palestine is getting hotter in the last few days. Last Monday, Israel launched rocket fire and air strikes on the Palestinian territories. This left 20 Gazans dead.
Israeli soldiers attacked Muslims who were performing tarawih prayers at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, Palestine on Friday (7/5/2021) night.
In addition, there have also been attempts to expel Palestinians in Sheikh Jarrah, East Jerusalem.
