Thus the Palestinian Health Ministry reported in a statement on Thursday (13/5/2021) local time as reported by Anadolu Agency, Friday (14/5/2021).
The fatalities included 27 children and 11 women.
A total of 580 people were injured to date, the ministry statement said.
Tensions have been running high since an Israeli court last week ordered the eviction of Palestinian families from East Jerusalem’s Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood.
Israel occupied East Jerusalem during the 1967 Arab-Israeli war and annexed the entire city in 1980, in a move that has never been recognized by the international community.

Aljazeera previously reported that since the Israeli attacks began on Monday (10/5/2021), Gaza’s health ministry said at least 83 people, including 17 children, had been killed.
In addition, more than 480 other people were injured.
At least six Israelis also died.
