TRIBUNNEWS.COM, JAKARTA – During Ramadan 1442 H, Laznas Baitulmaal Muamalat (BMM) collaborated with 63 partners by holding various aid distribution programs to 52,000 beneficiaries in 12 provinces in the country.
In addition to running independent programs, as a form of BMM’s responsibility as Laznas, BMM also collaborates with various partners in carrying out movements to facilitate kindness.
BMM Executive Director Novi Wardi revealed that the movement to facilitate the goodness of Ramadan was started by distributing 500 packages of Ramadan gifts to orphans by BMM and BaitulmaalKu in remote and coastal areas of West Java on April 21-22, 2021.
Other activities include distributing 2,260 iftar packages for orphans, poor people, and Al-Qur’an memorizers as well as 360 packages of Ramadan gifts, and 640 Al-Qur’an with One Ummah distributed in West Java on 23 April – 9 May 2021.
Together with the Thousand Mahkota Surga Foundation (EMAS Foundation) and the Thousand Silver Alms Movement (GEBRAK), BMM on May 8, 2021 distributed THR to 100 Koran teachers and educational heroes affected by Covid-19 in the Bekasi area, West Java.

“The condition of the heroes of education today is very apprehensive, especially the teachers of the Koran, preachers, and honorariums.
Those whose income is based on long working hours and is paid in kind, of course, make their income less and less. Therefore, the existence of this program is very useful in helping the heroes of education, “said Novi Wardi.
Like Ramadan the previous year, BMM again collaborated with Youtuber and influencer Mas Wahid to distribute 134 Lebaran gifts to orphans in Semarang City on May 3, 2021.
